A brief historical overview
On November 23, 1961, St. Peter and Paul Church opened its doors and was a spiritual center for the Middle Eastern Christian community. Father Habib Kwaiter, B.S.O. was appointed official pastor in 1970. A new church was built in 1979 and on March 30, 1980, Palm Sunday, the opening ceremony and the first solemn liturgy were celebrated in our new church.
